St Albans Beer & Cider Festival

Wed 24 - Sat 27 September 2025

The Alban Arena (Theatre), St Albans

The St Albans Beer & Cider Festival is an annual event celebrating a wide array of beers and ciders. The 2025 festival is scheduled from Wednesday, September 24th, to Saturday, September 27th, at the Alban Arena in St Albans.

Organized by the South Hertfordshire branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), the festival is a non-profit event staffed by volunteers, with proceeds supporting CAMRA's campaigns and local charities.

Attendees can anticipate a diverse selection of beverages, including real ales, ciders, and perries, complemented by various food options. The festival also features live music performances and special events such as tutored tastings, beer and food pairing sessions, and meet-the-brewer opportunities.

The festival operates on a token system for drink purchases, with token cards available in £5 increments. Drinks are served in pint, half-pint, or third-pint measures. Souvenir glasses are available for a £5 deposit, refundable upon return. Both cash and major credit/debit cards are accepted for admissions, token cards, and glass deposits.

Well-behaved, supervised children are welcome until 5 pm daily, and pet dogs are permitted in the outdoor patio area. Guide and assistance dogs are allowed throughout the festival.
