The inaugural Whixley on tap festival is running on Sunday 25th May 2025.
What is Whixley on tap? It is a beer festival with live music, games and food suitable for the whole family. Imagine a summer fete crossed with a beer festival, there’ll be something for everyone.
If you’ve never been to a beer festival before, then give this one a go. There’ll be 12 beers and ciders to try, you buy them using tokens that you buy on the door. If you don’t like beer, the bar will be open for other drinks too.
We have two bands lined up so far, the awesome Ouseburn Dads will be playing some fabulous party tunes to get us up and dancing and the wonderful Wed Wed Wed, will be cracking out some bangers too.
There will be hot and cold food available with details to be announced soon.
The profits will go to support Whixley Village Hall and Spokey Dokey Badge Club supporting disabled children like Rob’s daughter Lauren.
The event will be at Whixley Village Hall and if the weather is kind, we’ll be able to enjoy sunshine and fun outdoors – but it is a bank holiday weekend so we’ll be prepared for all weather!
