Exmoor Ales

Exmoor Ales, a Somerset-based brewery with over 40 years of history, has announced its closure due to financial challenges exacerbated by the post-COVID environment and increased taxes. To preserve its legacy and maintain the production of its signature beers, Exmoor Ales is entering a collaborative partnership with Hogs Back Brewery in Surrey. This arrangement is designed to keep the Exmoor brand independent while safeguarding jobs. Under the agreement, Exmoor will oversee production at Hogs Back Brewery to ensure the continuity of its beer's distinct taste. Additionally, plans are underway to expand the product range, including new offerings like low-alcohol beer, lager, and IPA.
