WHEN WE SAY SMALL BATCH BEER, WE MEAN SMALL Run by husband and wife team, James and Kat, we brew craft beer from a converted shipping container on Kat’s family farm in Suffolk. It’s cosy and we brew just 250 litres of beer at a time. That’s just 600 bottles or five casks per brew! Literally back-breaking madness. We’re always improving and growing Artefact and have big plans for the future. But for now, producing on such a small scale means our craft is everything, making us extremely passionate about every recipe, every ingredient and every part of the process – to produce great beers that we love. We hope you will love them too!

Baron is a playground for beer, with an ever-changing range. Made for the fun and love of the process. The brewery is based on a farm in Great Hormead, East Hertfordshire. The focus is to brew modern styles, particularly highly hopped ales, fresh lagers and occasional dark beers.
