East Anglia runs some of Britain's longest-standing and best-loved beer festivals. It is a region where cask is king, where a proper pint is part of the local fabric, and where the festival calendar leans on real ale, cider and perry as much as modern craft.
The big draws come round each year like clockwork. Cambridge fills a green with hundreds of cask ales every summer, Peterborough stages one of the country's largest beer festivals on its showground, and Norwich celebrates a deep brewing tradition through the colder months. Expect long bars of hand-pulled bitter, mild and stout, a serious cider and perry selection, and the unhurried, friendly mood the region is known for.
The scene spreads well beyond the cities. Cambridge, Norwich and Peterborough anchor the calendar, but village halls, heritage railways and market towns across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire run their own much-loved events. Many are volunteer-run and raise money for local causes, which gives them a community feel you do not always find elsewhere.

The 47th Peterborough Beer Festival is held in massive marquees on the river embankment in Peterborough. The site is about a 20 minute walk from Peterborough railway station and bus/coach station. Taxis are available at the railway station and bus station and we provide a drop off/taxi rank near the Key Theatre at the entrance to the Embankment
The 34th East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival

By kind permission of the Dean & Chapter, the 34th East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival will be held for the sixthyear running in the beautiful St. Edmundsbury Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds! For six days, St Edmundsbury Cathedral, its cloisters and garth, will host over 250 real ales and craft beers, 60 ciders, food stalls and come alive with a Sound Stage and full entertainment programme.

Whether you’re a seasoned hop-head or just in it for the sweet stuff, we’ve got something for everyone. The Worlington Beer & Cider Festival is your annual excuse to sample your way through the region’s finest breweries and cideries, all in one buzzing, sun-soaked (hopefully!) spot. From bold IPAs to tart ciders, from funky sours to traditional ales -we’re pouring passion by the pint. Started in 2013, we’ve grown from a local get-together to a can’t-miss weekend drawing beer lovers from across the country. This annual event takes place on August Bank Holiday weekend and sees three days of activity beginning on Friday 28th August through to Sunday 30th. The event not only helps raise funds for Worlington Cricket Club but also provides an opportunity for fundraising for SARS and SERV Suffolk & Cambridgeshire. Enjoy a wide selection of ales and ciders from some of the country’s best breweries as well as a gins, rums, vodkas and whiskies on the spirits bar and returning for 2026, our cocktail bar to go with three fantastic days of entertainment including live music and a variety of food stalls.

Last year's beer festival was a huge success, and this year, the festival will be bigger than ever! With a range of singers and performers throughout the weekend and a whole range of different beers, lagers and cider, we can't wait to welcome you all to The Three Horseshoes this August Bank Holiday. All profits made from the sale of alcohol at the designated outside bar will be donated to The Benjamin Foundation, a local charity in the heart of Norfolk dedicated to helping children and young people. This event is free for everyone to attend, with individually priced drinks. Food will also be available throughout the weekend with the usual pub menu. For tables inside, it will be highly advisable to book well in advance.

Passionate? Oh yes! Experimental? Undoubtedly! Unique? 100%! We craft refreshing, moreish and distinctive beers and other adult beverages. We are All Day Brewing Company Limited, a North Norfolk Microbrewery based in a magnificent 500 year old barn at Salle Moor Hall Farm. Hops from our very own Hop garden metres away from the brewery plus other ingredients grown on site, contribute to the distinct character of our beers and beverages. We have a well-established barrel ageing project underway, and specialise in wild and mixed fermentation beers. We also make real cider and raw kombucha, plus seasonal cordials and sodas.

Bury St. Edmunds
WHEN WE SAY SMALL BATCH BEER, WE MEAN SMALL Run by husband and wife team, James and Kat, we brew craft beer from a converted shipping container on Kat’s family farm in Suffolk. It’s cosy and we brew just 250 litres of beer at a time. That’s just 600 bottles or five casks per brew! Literally back-breaking madness. We’re always improving and growing Artefact and have big plans for the future. But for now, producing on such a small scale means our craft is everything, making us extremely passionate about every recipe, every ingredient and every part of the process – to produce great beers that we love. We hope you will love them too!
Buntingford
Baron is a playground for beer, with an ever-changing range. Made for the fun and love of the process. The brewery is based on a farm in Great Hormead, East Hertfordshire. The focus is to brew modern styles, particularly highly hopped ales, fresh lagers and occasional dark beers.
