London's world-class beer festival scene

London's festival calendar runs all year, from neighbourhood taproom parties to major national showcases. No other city in Britain puts on as many beer events, or as many different kinds, so whatever weekend you land on there is usually something worth going to.

The big set-piece festivals bring hundreds of beers from across the UK and beyond to venues along the river and out in the East End. Around them, the city's brewery districts run their own events: the Bermondsey Beer Mile hosts regular tap takeovers, and the brewing clusters of Hackney, Tottenham and Walthamstow stage their own crawls and open days.

The range is the point. In a single weekend you can move from a rare bottle list curated in a Central London bar to a hazy, hop-forward pour straight from the tank in an arch. Expect international styles alongside London brewing heritage, plenty of food, and a crowd as mixed as the city.

Whether you know your hops from your malt or simply fancy a really good pint, come in, see what’s on the handpulls and find your new favourite. Great beer starts close to home London has an extraordinary independent brewing scene, including breweries like Wimbledon, Sambrook’s and Twickenham. Yet many small breweries struggle to get their beers onto local pub bars, despite strong demand from drinkers who want to support independent producers. At The Sporting Page, we believe independent pubs should champion independent brewers. That’s why we’re putting beers from some of London’s most exciting breweries front and centre, giving you the chance to discover new names, revisit award-winning favourites and enjoy a proper pint poured by people who care about what they serve. Discover over 100 beers and ciders, including 70 cask ales from across the UK. Try everything from IPAs and pale ales to stouts, lagers, porters and bitters. You'll also find craft keg beers, 18 ciders, a dedicated no and low alcohol bar, and a diverse choice of wines and gin. Soak up the atmosphere and enjoy live music throughout the festival. Now in its fifth year, the Teddington Beer Festival returns to the Landmark Arts Centre, bringing together great drinks, live music and a friendly festival atmosphere.
