The Bear of North Moreton is incredibly excited to announce the return of the world-famous BEER AND CRICKET FESTIVAL for our fourth year. If you've really not heard of it, expect the following: A huge selection of local beers and ciders with American-style barbecue food available all weekend. High-octane village cricket tournaments, including international players competing at the pinnacle of their powers. For so long, the perfect marriage of pub, cricket club, idyllic village life and the summer - the festival produces memories for life, and we can't wait to bring it back stronger than ever.

Dine ‘N’ Devour returns to Broad Street this summer for a full weekend of good food, drinks, and independent traders in the heart of the city. From Friday 14th - Sunday 16th August, expect over 50 stalls bringing a mix of international street food, sweet treats, craft drinks and artisan finds. Whether you’re after something quick and indulgent or planning to take your time and try a bit of everything, you’ll be covered. Alongside the food, you’ll find handmade jewellery, artwork, gifts and all sorts of bits you didn’t know you needed. There’ll be a live DJ across the weekend, plus plenty of space to catch up with friends, wander, and soak it all in. Finstock Ale is a community‑run festival created to raise money for local good causes, built around a hand‑picked lineup of beers and ciders you won’t usually find in nearby pubs. The team focuses on keeping the event affordable and enjoyable while showcasing standout brews across a wide mix of styles — from familiar favourites to more adventurous choices from leading British breweries. The festival also nods to the old English tradition of the “parish ale,” celebrating the social, fundraising spirit that inspired its name.

The Duck Tavern will be serving a selection of 40+ real ales, craft beers, ciders and lagers. Plus mulled wine and cider, a selection of gins and rums and plenty of non-alcoholic drinks. All to give you an excuse to stay out and enjoy the afternoon.
