Moody Goose Brewery

Moody Goose Brewery is a small pub-based microbrewery located at the King William IV pub, where a four-barrel brew plant produces a range of small-batch cask ales primarily for the pub itself and for local beer festivals. It was first set up in 2014 with its first beers available in early 2015, and after a brief pause around 2019, the brewery restarted brewing in 2021 alongside the pub’s reopening. Their beer list has included traditional English styles such as golden ales, bitters and stouts brewed on the on-site kit, making it a local, community-focused producer rather than a large commercial operation.
