Walled City Brewery

Walled City Brewery, Londonderry

Walled City Brewery, founded in 2015 by James and Louise Huey, is Derry-Londonderry’s first craft brewery in nearly a century, located in the historic Ebrington Square. This family-run establishment combines a working brewery, award-winning restaurant, and innovative taproom under one roof, offering a unique "grain-to-glass" experience. Their beers often pay homage to local culture and history, with brews like "Boom" referencing the 17th-century Siege of Derry and "Sister Michael Stout" inspired by the Derry Girls TV series. The brewery also hosts immersive experiences, including a Beer Masterclass and the Earhart Gin School, where visitors can craft their own gin. In 2022, they expanded with a taproom serving only house-made beverages, further cementing their commitment to local craftsmanship. Their dedication has earned them accolades, including being named Northern Ireland's best pub and bar in the UK National Pub & Bar Awards.
