About this festival

Since 2005, the village of Brigstock has proudly hosted its annual Beer Festival and Comedy Night — a much-loved weekend of great food, real ales, live music, stand-up comedy, and family fun. While it’s a fantastic celebration of community spirit, the main purpose of the weekend is to raise money for local charities. What began as a local celebration has grown into a vibrant community event, warmly welcoming visitors from neighbouring villages and beyond.

2025 marked the 20th anniversary of our festival, and we’re proud to say that over the years we’ve raised more than £127,000 for a range of worthwhile causes. Thanks to the incredible support from our festival-goers, sponsors, and volunteers, each year has made a real difference.
