Cottage Beer Project

Cottage Beer Project is a nano-brewery in north-east Devon, founded in 2020 (brewing since 2021), that produces small-batch, bottle-conditioned ales on about a 200-litre brewkit. Their beers are made in classic British styles and naturally condition in the bottle, giving a flavour profile closer to cask beer without casks, and they’re all vegan-friendly. The brewery is very much a passion project led by owner/brewer Daniel Clayton, selling direct online, at local markets and events, and is known for its sustainability ethos, from plastic-free packaging to recycling spent grain and sourcing locally, while maintaining quality and community roots.
