Golden Duck Brewery is a small independent brewery based on a farm in Appleby Magna, North West Leicestershire. Founded in 2012, the brewery was built using the equipment from the former Rough Draft Brewery, relocated “lock, stock and barrel” to the Midlands. Their first brew was completed in June 2012.

Golden Duck focuses on producing hoppy golden ales, with regular new releases each month to refine their core range and seasonal schedule. Many of their beers follow a cricket theme, inspired by the founders’ involvement in their local cricket club — the origin of the brewery’s name.
