Gruff Brewery is a nano/microbrewery based in Stratford St Mary near Colchester, Suffolk. It was founded in 2023 by Gareth, a passionate homebrewer whose nickname “Gruff” (after a billy goat) inspired the brewery’s name and logo. Starting with a modest 65 L setup, the operation quickly expanded to a 200 L kit to meet growing demand. They supply local pubs, clubs, and beer festivals with a core range of around ten regularly produced beers, spanning session to premium styles.
