Jimbrew Brewing

Jimbrew Brewing Co., Preston

Jimbrew is a small, independent microbrewery and taproom based at Provender House in Clifton Fields, Lancashire, founded in late 2022 by founder Jim—who is gluten intolerant—and specialising exclusively in naturally gluten‑free, unfiltered and unfined keg beers (containing no barley or wheat). Emphasising sustainability, the brewery operates as a zero‑water‑waste facility, reuses waste grain to feed local livestock, and manages brewing effluent through an onsite reedbed system. The upstairs taproom is a cozy, wood‑accented space open on Friday evenings, often paired with Indian street food, serving around six rotating keg beers and “JB Social” events on occasion. Jimbrew’s branding, featuring retro‑futuristic can art, aligns with its “brew forward” ethos and reflects a thoughtful design collaboration launched in 2023, making it a standout in the Northern crafts scene for both its inclusivity and eco-conscious production ethos.
