Other Monkey Brewing

Other Monkey Brewing is a brewery and taproom located in the heart of Colchester, Essex, established in 2016. Their inaugural beer, 'Great Journey Begins,' is a Pale Ale that has remained a staple in their lineup. Over time, they have expanded their offerings to include a variety of beer styles, reflecting their commitment to experimentation and quality. Situated at 5-6 St Nicholas Street, the brewery occupies the historic site of the former Jacks hardware store. The taproom provides patrons with a direct experience of their brewing process, offering freshly brewed beers alongside a menu featuring burgers, bao, and sides. Their operating hours are Wednesday and Thursday from 5 pm to 11 pm, Friday from 3 pm to midnight, Saturday from noon to midnight, and Sunday from noon to 10 pm. In addition to on-site enjoyment, Other Monkey Brewing offers merchandise and canned beers for purchase both at the taproom and online. They also cater to trade customers, providing eclectic modern and heritage beers packaged in keg, cask, and smallpack formats.
