SG Brewing Co. is a young, independent craft brewery in Coggeshall that launched in 2024 with a creative and personality-driven approach to beer. The brewery’s name and branding revolve around a cast of goat-themed characters, with each goat representing a different beer style in its lineup — from crisp lagers like Staggering Goat to juicy hazy ales and lighter pale options. SG aims to make beers that are memorable, flavourful, and rooted in individuality and community, blending imaginative branding with quality brewing. The company also emphasises connection with drinkers through events, taproom experiences, and a playful “Tribe” community ethos as part of its mission to celebrate creativity, inclusivity, and shared experiences around craft beer.
