The Wrexham Lager Beer Company is Britain’s oldest existing lager brewery, founded in 1882 by German immigrants Ivan Levinstein and Otto Isler. Famous for its historic 140-year-old Bavarian-style recipe, it was the only lager served on the RMS Titanic. Following years of closure, the Roberts family revived the brewery in 2011. Wrexham AFC co-chairmen Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney acquired a majority stake in 2024 through their joint venture, Red Dragon Ventures, to boost international expansion.
