Ards Brewing Company Ltd, founded in 2011 and based in Greyabbey on the Ards Peninsula in County Down, Northern Ireland, operates as a small, local brewery producing bottle-conditioned, cask, and KeyKeg beers. Their core range includes beers such as Pig Island, Scrabo Gold, Hip Hop, Ballyblack Stout and several seasonal and golden ales, most of which are distributed within a roughly 15-mile radius. Bell’s Brewery in Belfast revives one of the city’s oldest brewing roots, founded in 1778 by John Bell, a Wine & Spirit Merchant who helped spark Belfast’s early beer revolution. They brew beers inspired by Belgian and modern American styles, using high-quality ingredients and a non-compromising approach to flavour. As a co-op, they emphasize equality, transparency, and community — members get voting rights, discounts, and early access to new beers. Their premises include a taproom located in a former industrial spinning mill, which doubles as a social hub offering Boundary brews alongside guest beers, local spirits, wine, and food.

​Bullhouse Brew Co, founded in 2016 by William Mayne in Belfast, Northern Ireland, began as a homebrewing project and has evolved into a prominent independent craft brewery. Specializing in hop-forward beers and modern takes on traditional styles like lagers, Irish stouts, and sours, Bullhouse emphasizes quality and community engagement. In June 2022, they opened Bullhouse East, Belfast's first permanent taproom, offering 20 taps of craft beer and wood-fired pizza. The taproom was recognized as the Best Urban Craft Beer Bar in the UK in 2023. Bullhouse's commitment to innovation and advocacy for modernizing Northern Ireland's licensing laws was acknowledged when they were named the UK's Best Drinks Producer at the 2024 BBC Food and Farming Awards. Their beers are available throughout Ireland and exported to markets including Great Britain, France, Italy, and the Netherlands.

Hilden Brewery, established in 1981 in Lisburn, County Antrim, is Ireland’s oldest independent brewery. Located in a converted Georgian linen house courtyard, it blends heritage with modern brewing, operating two brewhouses alongside its own bottling and canning lines. The brewery produces a diverse range of craft beers, including the popular Belfast Blonde, Headless Dog, and Twisted Hop. Modest Beer Brewing Company is a Northern Ireland–based craft brewery founded in 2018 by Chris Morris that began in a garage and has grown into a small independent operation in Bangor, County Down. They brew small-batch, flavour-forward beers with a straightforward, honest ethos—saying they never set out to brew the “best” beer, just pretty good beer—and their offerings span juicy pale ales, New England-style hazy IPAs, and crisp lagers.
