Brehon Brewhouse

Brehon Brewhouse is a craft brewery built right on the McMahon family’s working dairy farm in Co. Monaghan; its brewing operation is housed in converted farm sheds, and all brewing, bottling and capping is done by hand. They use locally sourced malt and hops to create a core range that includes a blonde ale, red ale, IPA and oatmeal stout, plus seasonal and speciality beers (like barrel-aged stouts) that reflect their farmhouse roots. The brewery also operates tours, giving visitors a chance to see the malting, brewing and fermenting up close, and tying the brewing process intimately to their farming heritage.
