Dolphin Brewery – based in Reading and founded by Andy and Laura Dolphin – is a small-batch, garage-turned-commercial brewery known for its expertly crafted sour, mixed-fermentation, and saison-style beers, all of which are vegan-friendly. Andy, a Nottingham Brewing Science graduate and award-winning homebrewer, turned his passion into a professional brewery in 2020, drawing inspiration from seasonal and foraged fruits. Their varied lineup includes fruity sours (raspberry, apple & rhubarb, pineapple gose), barrel-aged mixed-culture releases, and crisp, approachable Belgian-style saisons and wits. The brewery has earned praise from UK beer enthusiasts for producing “absolutely incredible,” “properly special and exciting” sours that stand out for their clean, bold flavours.
