Isle of Harris Brewery

The Isle of Harris Brewery, founded in 2020 by Nick and Anna Helfrich (with Spud the Brewery Dog), began as a small brewshed operation in Borrisdale. In March 2024, they expanded to a larger facility at Leverburgh Pier, featuring a taproom, restaurant, deli, and bottle shop. The brewery crafts a core range of ten beers, along with seasonal specials and bespoke labels, all brewed with Scottish grain and natural ingredients. The taproom offers casual dining with local produce, while the deli provides takeaway options. Situated near the ferry terminal, it's a convenient stop for both locals and visitors seeking Hebridean hospitality.​
