Established in 2016, 71 Brewing revived Dundee's brewing tradition after a 50-year hiatus. Operating from a historic ironworks in the Blackness area, the brewery crafts modern beers inspired by traditional European styles and contemporary techniques. Beyond brewing, 71 Brewing engages in community collaborations, such as creating a blueberry sour beer with Transition Dundee to combat food waste. ​Black Isle Brewery, founded in 1998 by David Gladwin, is an organic brewery located in Munlochy, Scotland. Committed to environmental sustainability, they produce a range of organic beers, including their flagship Treehouse Organic Pale Ale, and operate a five-acre SOPA-accredited market garden supplying ingredients for their bars. Visitors can tour the brewery, dine at their Inverness and Fort William bars known for craft beers and wood-fired pizzas, and stay in accommodations on their farm or in the nearby towns.
