Leatherbritches Brewery, Ashby-de-la-Zouch

ur Brewery was founded in 1993, the idea of Bill Allingham, the youngest son of the family. Edward Allingham, Bill's elder brother has since taken over the brewery and runs it as sole proprietor. With the ever-increasing demand for the superb award winning beers Early in 2002 equipment was purchased to bottle beers using traditional methods. This is still our method of choice today. Bottles are now enjoyed across the whole of the UK. Business as usual, when we are not in a global Pandemic, comprises of a wide range of festivals and events across the UK. We are also proud to distribute our cask ales to over 150 real ale pubs and inns across the country and look forward to regaining contact with our wonderful customers in the near future.

The Harbury Beer & Cider Festival has taken place since 1991, with just three missed years, on the Friday and Saturday following the August Bank Holiday Monday in Harbury Village Hall. Every year, the festival has a different theme. Our 33rd festival promises to be a very special occasion. We will have around 30 different beers, mostly from Leicestershire, with a few from some of our best local breweries. For lovers of apples and pears there will also be a selection of around 15 ciders and perries for you to enjoy.
