North Brewing Co, founded in 2015 by John Gyngell and Christian Townsley in Leeds, UK, emerged from their pioneering work with North Bar, which opened in 1997 and is often regarded as the UK's first craft beer bar. Known for its innovative, hop-forward beers and distinctive branding, North Brewing Co has expanded its reach both nationally and internationally, exporting to over 25 countries. In 2020, the brewery relocated to the Springwell site in North Leeds, enhancing its production capacity and establishing a 500-person taproom that hosts various events.
