Petrus is a renowned brand of Belgian sour and traditional ales produced by Brouwerij De Brabandere (formerly Bavik Brewery) in Bavikhove, founded in 1894. Known for their expert barrel-aging (foeders), the brewery's flagship, Petrus Aged Pale, is a 100% sour ale aged 24 months in oak casks.
