Roman Way Brewery is a small, experimental microbrewery established in 2019 at the former Royal Ordnance Depot in Weedon Bec, Northamptonshire—taking its name from nearby Watling Street, Britain’s original Roman road. Handcrafting real ales using traditional methods and high-quality ingredients, the brewery offers a creative core range including session bitters, pale ales, golden ales, IPAs, porters, and stouts—with names inspired by Roman heritage like Senate Gold, Claudius IPA, and Boudicca New World IPA. Their taproom is open Fridays and Saturdays for direct sales, live music, and street‑food pop‑ups, supporting local businesses and nurturing a strong community vibe across Northamptonshire.
