The White Hag Brewing Company

Based in Ballymote, County Sligo, The White Hag Brewing Company was founded in late 2013 and launched its brewery in 2014, becoming Sligo’s first in over a century. Inspired by local myth and ancient brewing traditions, the modern independent brewery is known for innovative and award-winning stouts, IPAs, and its standout Púca sour series made through mixed fermentation. Its creative team frequently collaborates with international brewers and has developed a unique crowd-funded barrel-aging program holding over 40,000 litres in oak. The brewery also hosts the annual Hagstravaganza festival and is expanding rapidly, with growing exports across Europe, the US, and Dubai.
