Think you know your pint? This autumn is your chance to broaden your horizons.

Returning to Ascot Racecourse as part of the BetMGM Autumn Racing Weekend (Friday 2 & Saturday 3 October), the Ascot Beer Festival brings together more than 150 real ales, ciders and perries, with a particular focus on breweries from Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire and the surrounding counties.

From crisp golden ales and classic bitters to hazy pale ales, rich stouts, traditional ciders and festival specials, there’s plenty to discover – whether you’re already a real-ale enthusiast or usually stick to your tried-and-tested order.

And if you’re not quite sure where to start, that’s where CAMRA’s knowledgeable volunteers come in. Their advice? Come curious, ask questions and don’t be afraid to try something new.
