About this festival

As part of St Albans City of Ale weekend, explore an extra-special range of cask and craft keg beers at the Great Northern Pub & Kitchen!

Renowned for its great beer range, real ciders and delicious home-cooked food, the GN is an independent, grade II-listed free house. Hosts Emma and Sheri, along with their friendly team of staff, are ready to welcome you.

As well as the usual rotating range on the bar, for the City of Ale event the Great Northern is hosting a special cask beer festival in its heated outdoor pergola, located within a pleasant garden. For details of the beer list, check out the pub's social media pages before the event.

And while you're visiting, don't forget to say hello to Plato, the pub's guard-tortoise!
