Bull of the Woods Brewing Co. is a family-owned brewery founded by brothers Seamus and Rory Clifford on their family farm in the Waveney Valley near Bungay. Specialising in hand-crafted, exciting ales, the brewery began as a passion project inspired by the craft beer movement and the brothers’ love of good beer. Repurposing a rundown grain store on their farm, they transformed it into a brewery in 2017. The brewery’s name, a tribute to their father’s award-winning bulls and a nod to 1960s psychedelic music, captures the spirit of hard work, creativity, and heritage that defines Bull of the Woods Brewing Co.

Chalk Hill Brewery

Chalk Hill Brewery was formed in 1993 by Bill Thomas, Tiny Little and David Blake – a group of friends with a shared interest in sailing, and beer. It now stands as the longest running independent brewery in Norwich! The brewery was named after the surrounding area which was previously known as Chalk Hill, and is now Rosary Road. The brewery is a custom built 15 barrel plant and brews a selection of permanent and seasonal real ales.
