Orkney Brewery

Orkney Brewery, established in 1988, is located in a former Victorian schoolhouse in Quoyloo, near Skara Brae, in the heart of Neolithic Orkney. As Orkney's oldest brewery, it offers a diverse range of handcrafted ales, including the iconic Dark Island, the robust Skull Splitter, and the refreshing Orkney Gold. The brewery's award-winning visitor centre provides tours that delve into the brewing process and the building's history, complemented by a tasting hall café serving local specialities. Guests can also explore a gift shop featuring brewery products and local crafts.
