Quantock Brewery is a family‑run, award‑winning microbrewery founded in 2007 in Wellington and now based in Bishops Lydeard, Somerset. Led by co‑founders Cheryl Ford and former nuclear engineer Rob Rainey, its mission is “for the love of beer”— crafting a diverse range from easy‑drinking Session Pale Ale QPA and classic bitters to bold New England IPAs such as We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Boat and flagship Titanium, which have garnered multiple national awards including top UK titles from the World Beer Awards and SIBA competitions. Brewing has expanded over time from an 8‑barrel system to a 30HL capacity supported by a canning line and growing distribution across the UK. With a brewery taproom and shop at their site near the heritage West Somerset Railway, they regularly host live music, street‑food pop‑ups, festivals and small‑batch experimental releases—always pushing beer boundaries while staying true to craftsmanship and quality.
