Stubborn Mule Brewery, based in Timperley near Altrincham, is a fiercely independent microbrewery founded by Ed Bright, who left a corporate banking career to pursue his passion for craft beer. Starting from a garden shed in 2015, the brewery has grown into a one-man operation known for its unfiltered, unpasteurised, and often vegan-friendly beers, all crafted with a hands-on approach. Their taproom, open on Fridays and Saturdays, offers up to 15 beers on tap alongside rotating street food vendors, creating a welcoming space for families and dogs alike. With a commitment to quality and character, Stubborn Mule continues to serve the local community with its unique brews.
