The award-winning Ulverston Brewing Company in Cumbria operates a 12-barrel plant in the Old Auction Mart. It was founded by Paul and Anita Swann to carry the torch after historic Hartley's Brewery closed. Popular beers feature Laurel and Hardy themes and can be sampled at the on-site Laughing Gravy Bar.
